Dane’s team at Arkwright did a fantastic job. They helped with everything starting from design work based on reference photos, to construction and installation. Everything went smoothly and the team was ready for every issue we ran across. The work was high quality, on time, and on budget.

Dane and his crew were incredible. They were never a minute late each day for 2 months and did an incredible job on our living/kitchen remodel. His expertise and craftsmanship were top notch and his knowledge on all the details was very impressive. We hired Arkwright after a very bad experience with a different contractor. Needless to say, our experience with Dane was above and beyond and we look forward to hiring them again for a master bedroom/bath remodel in the future.

I could not recommend Dane and the Arkwright team more. They recently installed a gas fireplace, built in shelves, and bench seating in our front room, and it could not be more perfect. A few key things stood out about Arkwright:

I would - and already have - highly recommend Arkwright Construction. Dane Stevenson was engaged on the project from the planning stages of a new kitchen, all the way through the end of the project. His team of craftsmen were punctual, diligent, careful, and - perhaps best of all - able to problem-solve when confronted with unexpected challenges working in a 90+ year old building. They were a terrific team to work with; even the building engineer and his team were deeply impressed with the level and quality of workmanship which never varied over the course of a four-month project, and the care that was taken to protect the common spaces in the building. If I could give them more stars, I would!

We have previously used Dane’s team for our full kitchen remodel, powder room refresh, a number of miscellaneous projects and are currently having them redo our basement (including adding carpeting, a wet bar and a wine cellar). Dane originally came recommended by a designer we used and we found him to be very professional and trustworthy relative to past contractors (hence why we keep using him for new projects). Dane’s team is terrific too - always very courteous and respectful.

Dane and Arkwright Construction did a complete redesign/remodel of my kitchen with amazing results. My vision was listened to and carried out in amazing detail. Dane and his team did an amazing job on our renovation. We wanted a high end job and that is what he delivered us. Dane also came up with some interesting solutions as well. We had a powder room that had ugly access panels and Dane made them almost disappear. He was always easy to reach and he had the same crew working our job from start to finish. All might sound too good to be true....but it is!

Dane and Arkwright are terrific. They installed a new roof and replaced a deck for us. They also addressed some water damage. They’ve done smaller projects for us as well. Their quality of work is terrific. Dane is very knowledgeable. His workers and he are very conscientious, cleaning up nightly during an extended project. Our projects were completed on time and within budget. This company’s level of service is exceptional. I highly recommend them for any project you have.

Dane was the general contractor for a co-op apartment project in the Drake Tower for which I was the architect. I had a wonderful time working with Dane. He was always genial, and embodied “grace under pressure.” Working in an existing structure is often more difficult than new construction, and Dane was a great communicator, very schedule-conscious, and a great listener. Dane and his team did amazing work and were very professional. (I had my shower grout re-done and shower/floors/countertops re-sealed) The tile looks like it's completely new as it clearly wasn't done right the first time. I really appreciated that he fully managed expectations with timing which is something that I've never gotten in the past from contractors. Additionally, I felt very comfortable leaving his team in my place while I went to work. They cleaned up and locked up each day so I didn't have to worry and wasn't left with a mess each night. I would definitely hire them again!
